St Thomas Wedding Photography

St. Thomas is perfect for weddings and photos

St Thomas is a US territory located in the Caribbean that plays host to 1000s of weddings each year. For US citizens looking for a tropical destination wedding, there might not be a better or easier choice to make your vows. Because U.S. citizens don’t require a passport to enter the U.S. Virgin Islands, it makes an easy choice for couples to elope. You will need to show proof of citizenship, so make sure to check the latest requirements.

It is an absolute delight to photograph weddings here on St Thomas. Of the three U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Thomas is by far the most cosmopolitan island, yet it still retains the distinctive Caribbean flavor. For couples looking to get married, St. Thomas is packed with opportunities to celebrate your nuptials.

Before and after your wedding, you and your guests can enjoy the many things the island has to offer from duty-free shopping and spectacular diving to our world-class restaurants. You can enjoy the island’s world-renowned golf courses, picture-perfect beaches, and spectacular nightlife. Take the Skyride 700 feet above the city or hike up the famous 99 Steps of Charlotte Amalie for a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea. You can visit the second-oldest synagogue in the Western Hemisphere, enjoy an outing to Fort Christian built in 1680. All and all, finding great spots for wedding photos here isn’t particularly hard if you know where to look. Today, I’m going to share some of our most striking beach locations that are not only ideal for an idyllic wedding but also serve as a spectacular backdrop for amazing wedding photos. Magens Bay

Found on the north side of St. Thomas, Magens Bay boasts almost a mile of sugar-white sand. Once ranked as one of National Geographic’s 10 most beautiful beaches in the world.

Lindquist Beach

Less than half the size as Magens, it is not longing for super-fine white sand and crystal clear blue waters. The seclusion of Lindquist Beach will make for an unparalleled beachfront wedding.

Sapphire Beach

Once again, a beautiful white-sand beach surrounded by seagrape trees and water blessed with 100 shades of blue. You will find better amenities here than at Lindquist Beach.

Limetree Beach

On the south side of St. Thomas you will find Limetree Beach. Known for its beautiful sunsets and a quieter atmosphere, Limetree is host to more powder-white sand and a rocky reef that emerges from the water on it’s far right.

Brewers Bay

For a quiet wedding, consider Brewers Bay tucked away on St. Thomas’s westside. Frequented by locals, this sandy beach offers up stunning aquamarine waters for an amazing backdrop.
