Some weddings feel like they could only belong to the couple at the center of them, and Chisom and Tyler’s day was just that—personal, heartfelt, and filled with joy from beginning to end.
Chisom, an Assistant Professor of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, has always been the outgoing star of the show—warm, magnetic, and impossible not to love. Tyler, a thoughtful lawyer, balances her energy with his sweet, gentle presence. Watching them together, it’s clear how beautifully they complement one another.
Their wedding weekend began at the Buoy Haus Beach Resort, St. Thomas, Autograph Collection, where they gathered with 90 of their closest friends and family. Getting ready there set the tone for the day: laughter in every corner, music playing, and the buzz of anticipation that something extraordinary was about to unfold.
The ceremony at Villa Botanica was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by lush gardens and sweeping island views, the setting was the perfect match for Chisom’s vision of a sophisticated garden celebration. As she walked down the aisle, radiant with a touch of glow from Shary Cruz’s makeup artistry, Tyler’s expression said everything—this was the moment he had been waiting for.
The florals, designed by East End Flower Shop, tied the entire scene together—elegant, lush, and full of color. Behind the scenes, Island Bliss Weddings coordinated everything seamlessly, making sure the day flowed with ease so the couple could focus on what mattered most: celebrating their love.
